The Mahomet-Seymour School District offers evaluation of students for subject area or whole grade acceleration. Interested parents/guardians should read the Parent and Teacher Guide to Acceleration located on the District's website, www.mahometseymour.org (For Parents/Acceleration/Parent and Teacher Guide to Acceleration) and complete the Universal Referral Form for Acceleration found at the end of the document. Requests for acceleration must be submitted to the building principal no later than March 30th.
For parents/guardians interested in Early Entry to Kindergarten, for students that will not be 5 on or before September 1, requests for Early Entry should be submitted to Middletown Prairie Elementary Principal, Mr. Ryan Martin (rmartin@ms.k12.il.us), on or before April 30th.

Due to the forecasted severe weather conditions, the Mahomet-Seymour Schools will be closed on Wednesday, February 2 and Thursday, February 3, 2022. These are "snow days" and will be made up at the end of the school year. IF necessary, Friday, February 4 will be an E-learning day, however, that decision has not been made yet. Conditions will be assessed and a decision will be made on Thursday. Stay safe!
