Welcome to Lincoln Trail Mr. Wirth! Mr. Wirth is very excited to return to Mahomet to teach PE. He has taught PE for the last 6 years and has always dreamed of returning to his hometown to teach. He and his wife, Megan, have 2 amazing children along with 1 dog and 2 cats. Mr. Wirth enjoys coaching football and track. He is also passionate about weightlifting and being active.

Welcome Miss Soldati to Lincoln Trail! This will be Miss Soldati’s first year at Lincoln Trail. She completed her student teaching in the area last year. She lives in Bloomington with her boyfriend, Julian, and her two dogs, Zoey and Ziggy. She enjoys being outside specially near an ocean. She can’t wait to meet her 3B students!

Join us in welcoming Mrs. Nicole Ernst to Lincoln Trail! Mrs Ernst has taught 4th grade in Bloomington for the last 8 years. While she is new to LT she is not new to Mahomet. She attended MS schools from 1st through graduation. She is thrilled to be teaching in the building she attended as a student. She and her husband of ten years, Justin, have 3 young boys and 3 dogs. She loves spending time outside with friends and family.

More wishes on the tree today

A group of LT students started a book club this summer and after finishing the book decided to create a wish tree at Lincoln Trail. Feel free to add your wishes to the tree and read along with me. An old T-shirt makes a great space to write your wish.

Another space for learning is coming together at Lincoln Trail! Any guesses about which room this is?

Congratulations to our 5th graders that competed in this year’s ICTM Math competition.
