MSJH Speech Team 

Speech Team is an extracurricular activity open to all junior high students at MSJH. Students who audition and are selected for Speech Team will have a variety of categories to select from including solo acting, regular duet acting, prose reading, and persuasive speaking, among others. These acts will be performed in front of a judge and audience at MSJH in October.  Speech Team is a great opportunity for students to practice public speaking skills, conquer stage fright, improve memorization and writing skills, and excel in an IESA activity while showing their personality and talents in the field of performing arts. Participants will have weekly practice sessions with Coach Sanborn and Coach Maxwell, but practice days and times vary. Speech Team will help you be a better actor and speaker, both at school and in the future!
