Mrs. Raver is so excited to be returning to the 2nd grade classroom this year!

Throughout her 21 years in education, Mrs. Raver has taught Kindergarten, first grade, second grade, and reading intervention.  For the past two school years Mrs. Raver stepped out of the classroom to develop, launch and teach MPE's Action Based Learning (ABL) Encore class.

Mrs. Raver lives in Mahomet with her husband, Lance.  They have three daughters:  Carly, who will be heading to Ohio State this year, Kate, a Junior as MSHS, and Shelby, a freshman at MSHS.  They also share their home with a 4-pound Yorkie named Stella Rose.

During her free time and breaks from school, Mrs. Raver enjoys traveling and spending time with her family, exercising, reading a good mystery/thriller, teaching swimming lessons, and walking and playing fetch with Stella!

Mrs. Raver cannot wait to meet her incoming 2nd grade students.  She's most excited about working together as a classroom community, helping her students learn and grow, having a lot of fun along the way, and no doubt-- creating once-in-a-lifetime memories!
