Dear Sangamon School Families,

Welcome to Sangamon Elementary School.  I hope that you and your first or second grade child are planning on having an exciting and rewarding 2012-2013 school year. If you are new to Sangamon School, I would like to extend to you a warm welcome. I hope that you and your child have many positive experiences at Sangamon, and find that everyone at our school truly practices the establishment of a nurturing and “child-centered” environment on a daily basis. If you and your child are returning to Sangamon, I hope that all of your expectations for a great school year are met, or exceeded this year. I strongly encourage all of you to be actively involved in your child’s education and feel welcome to visit our school at any time.
