Welcome to Mahomet-Seymour Junior High Wrestling

Practice Friday (1/15) for JV has been canceled. 

Practice Friday (1/15) for Varsity is from 2:00PM to 3:30PM.

The tournament Saturday (1/16) is for Varsity only. The bus leaves at 4:45AM SHARP! and we will meet in the wrestling room at 4:30AM. 

Junior Varsity will not have practice on Saturday (1/16).

Practice Monday (1/18) will be from 9:00AM to 11:00AM (This is for both varsity and junior varsity)

The Mahomet-Seymour Junior High Wrestling Team has a proud tradition which began in the 1979-80 season.  M-S has compiled an IESA record 6 State Championships (1984, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1996, and 2009) and 21 top four finishes in the state overall.  The Bulldogs also has an IESA record 42 Individual State Champions.

Coach Porter and myself are excited to begin the 2009-2010 wrestling season.  We both understand the proud wrestling tradition here at Mahomet-Seymour and look forward to working with the wrestlers, parents, and community members to continue that success.  I hope this website will provide you with information that you will find helpful.  It will continue to be updated throughout the season.  Thank you for your interest in Mahomet-Seymour Junior High Wrestling.
