SUMMER SCHOOL 2010
Course selection materials and summer school registration forms have been distributed. The summer school form can also be downloaded and printed HERE. Completed forms, with payment, should be turned in to Mrs. Ray in the main office as soon as possible.
PARKLAND PATHWAY TO ILLINOIS
The Parkland Pathway to Illinois application is now available online. The priority filing deadline is March 15 and the final deadline is May 15. If a student applies by March 15, they will have a decision by April 15. If they apply after the priority filing deadline, they will have a decision 2-4 weeks after completing their application.
Students are encouraged to apply early so they can really explore all options before making a final decision on their plans next year.

COURSE SELECTION 2010-2011
Course selection is underway -- high school studetns are meeting with their counselors to select their classes for the 2010-2011 school year. When possible, students will be called out of study hall to meet with their counselors.
Students -- as you wait to be called in, please take some time to look over the course selection materials and be prepared for your meeting with your counselor.
Current 8th graders will meet with the high school counselors in March to select their courses for next year as well.

COLLEGE REP VISITS
Representatives from various colleges and universities visit MSHS throughout the year. Watch the announcements for dates and times and sign up in the office with Mrs. Elliott at least one day prior to the meeting.
