The reading program is designed to assist those students who are experiencing difficulty in reading. 

Instruction occurs within small group sessions that meet daily outside the regular classroom. These reading classes are in addition to, not in place of, the reading curriculum within the regular classroom. As the year progresses, each student is continually assessed.  

Parents are kept informed of their child's progress either through parent- teacher conferences and/or written reports.
