INVITATION TO BID

Qualified General Contractors are hereby invited to submit sealed bids to the Mahomet-Seymour CUSD #3 Administrative Offices, located at 1301 South Bulldog Drive, Mahomet, Illinois 61853, to the attention of Mr. Rick Johnston, Superintendent, until 2:00 p.m., local time, Thursday, February 2, 2017, that at such time will be publicly opened and read aloud for the Middletown Prairie Elementary School Addition and Renovation.

Starting Friday, January 6, 2017, access to online electronic bidding documents may be requested by emailing bidder’s contact information to Andy Hoef at Ittner Architects, andyh@ittnerarchitects.com . Bidders will be added to the registered plan holders list and will receive notices regarding all subsequent bidding correspondence, as well as online access to existing condition reference document drawings, specifications, and submittals that include information on previous construction at Project site.

Printed bidding documents may be purchased from Dean’s Superior Blueprint, 400 East University Avenue, Champaign, IL 61820, (217) 359-3261, www.deansblueprint.com.

A mandatory Prebid meeting for bidders will be held at Middletown Prairie Elementary School, 1301 South Bulldog Drive, Mahomet, Illinois 61853 on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., local time. Prospective General Contractors are required to attend. All others are highly encouraged to attend.

All Contracts for the Construction of Public Works are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12).

Mahomet-Seymour CUSD #3 reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities therein.
